Traditional Chinese Medicine can treat

I came through Seattle with the national tour of "Wicked" and immediately had a reaction to the climate change, developing bronchitis and acid reflux, which I have never suffered as a singer before. After going to more than one traditional ENTs and getting all kinds of prescription medication that actually made me feel worse, I turned to Monica, hoping that she could help me get back in the show. After just 2 treatments and taking the herbs she gave me, as well as following the diet guidelines she had suggested, I felt so much better, both physically and mentally. She was always there to answer any questions I had and to fit me into her schedule whenever she could. I continued to see Monica until I left Seattle, and every single visit was a calming, healing experience. She has changed my entire opinion of acupuncture and opened my mind to a whole new way of health and wellness. I'm just sad that she doesn't live in New York, where I'm from!

I suffered a rotator cuff impingement, and physical therapy wasn't helping -- in fact, it seemed to make it worse. I decided to try acupuncture, and the results were really surprising. After 3 treatments, I recovered movement in my shoulder, and the pain greatly decreased. Six treatments later, my shoulder feels fantastic, and it functions normally again. It's been a great way to heal and recover.

I recently had a ganglion cyst near my wrist and went to see Monica for treatment. As a percussionist, I count on the health of my hands, wrists, and arms to be able to play so it was really important to me. For example... I had years of infertility, saw other acupuncturists and even had a failed IVF. After seeing Monica for just 3 months, my menstrual cycle completely changed, I felt better, had more energy and GOT PREGNANT after having a frozen embryo transferred!! I have referred many friends to her for fertility issues and they have all had success. She is not only great at what she does, but she is so dedicated to her patients. A few months into my pregnancy, I began to bleed heavily and e-mailed her on Christmas day to let her know what happened. She immediately called me back, left her family dinner (on CHRISTMAS!!!) to meet me at her office for a treatment. And thanks to her, I had a healthy little boy. I was getting at least one migraine every week when I first went to Monica Legatt for treatment. Her acupuncture sessions, herbal combinations and dietary advice have played a major role in reducing headache incidents to an average of one a month. Monica saved me!! I really mean it! I broke out in hives all over my body--literally from head to toe. I've never had hives before, so I assumed they would just go away after a few days. Well, after 10 days of unbearable itching (even while taking benedryl), I went to the Doctor. He didn't have any remedy and said to wait 2 more weeks to see if they'd go away. I thought I would go crazy from the itching! That's when I called Monica.

She got me in the next day and did a treatment for the hives. In LESS THAN 24 hours the itching/redness decreased by 80%! Seriously! It was a miracle. She also had me take some herbs, which helped a ton. 3 days after the initial treatment the hives were gone!! I had a few follow-up treatments and continued with the herbs as directed. NO MORE HIVES! I came to Monica after suffering two very early miscarriages.  My OB provided no answers or help, so I turned to Monica and found exactly what I needed.  From the first visit, I knew I had found to right person to help me get and STAY pregnant.  She was professional, extremely knowledgeable and very reassuring.  I got pregnant again quickly and as soon as I found out I e-mailed her (on a Sunday) and she replied right away encouraging me to come in for a treatment so that we could maintain the pregnancy.  The treatments helped relieve my anxiety, lessened my morning sickness and, most importantly, kept me pregnant.  I visited Monica again when I was 41 weeks pregnant with no sign of labor on the horizon.  She treated me on Monday, again on Wednesday and I went into labor on Thursday.  I’m currently 5 months post partum and will be visiting Monica again as I’m having difficulty recovering from the 3rd degree perineal tear I experienced during delivery.  I am confident that treatment will aid in my healing and recovery.
