On October 18th, 2010, Monica Legatt changed my life forever.

Having had multiple conversations with fertility specialists between April and September of that year who told us that my FSH levels were too high to get pregnant and that the only chance we had at a family was egg donorship or adoption, I had almost given up hope. But after speaking to a friend who had success using acupuncture to address fertility issues, I decided to give it a chance.

I first visited Monica in her office on October 18th and shared my story with her. She asked tons of questions and told me in no uncertain terms that I should not give up. I laid down on the table that day only half believing that anything she would be doing would help my chances of getting pregnant - and I was convinced that even 50% was high odds.

On October 26th, I received a call from my doctor. She told me that me that my husband and I were expecting a "miracle baby." Monica saved me!! I really mean it! I broke out in hives all over my body--literally from head to toe. I've never had hives before, so I assumed they would just go away after a few days. Well, after 10 days of unbearable itching (even while taking benedryl), I went to the Doctor. He didn't have any remedy and said to wait 2 more weeks to see if they'd go away.
