I have been regular client of Monica Legatt for over 10 years, and have had the most success with her. She has solved or healed issues no other medical procedure or therapy could. For example, she has helped my knees, ears, respiratory system, and other issues.

I've found that acupuncture, coupled with herb supplements that Monica recommended, have helped treat and control psoriasis in surprising ways. I had tried various steroid- based traditional treatments from my doctor, and they're pricey and not very effective. I am so thankful for the wonderful referral to Monica Legatt and Seattle Acupuncture and Massage. After suffering for about a year from eczema around my mouth and painful cracking of the lips, I decided to forgo the traditional prescriptions of cortisone creams. The final straw was when a dermatologist told me to use across-the-counter anti-fungal cream. Monica immediately diagnosed the problem as a hormonal problem and prescribed acupuncture and naturopathic pills. Never have any of the doctors that I saw for my problem raised anything about hormones! Within a couple of weeks, my eczema and cracked lips were normal. Now I go to see Monica for all my ailments - stomach problems, stress, eczema problems on other parts of my body and shoulder and neck problems. Monica has my complete trust to deal with my health issues. I have also taken full advantage of the massage therapy at her office. It's so convenient.

After having intense heel pain from running and hiking for about six months I started receiving acupuncture treatments. I've been an avid runner for 20 years (3-4 runs per week) and found myself unable to run more than once or twice a week due to deep heel pain. I tried acupuncture after reading an article in a national magazine and having several friends tell of successful acupuncture treatments. I found that acupuncture combined with massage greatly eased my pain and has allowed me to start increasing the frequency and length of my runs. I would strongly suggest acupuncture as one way of healing/easing heel or general foot pain.
