Three years ago my husband and I decided to try and have a baby. I had never been pregnant before and I was very close to turning 30 so I had no idea how long it might take. I was already seeing Monica for other issues so I figured I might as well boost up my fertility while I was at it. Three months later I came home with the news that we were going to have a little baby of our own. Everything went really smoothly throughout my pregnancy until the very end.

Ten days before my due date I found out that my baby was Frank Breech. I was panicked, this was a total shock to us. I called Monica as soon as I left the doctor's office which at the time was very close to closing on a Friday night. Monica explained that because of how far along I was that the chances of turning the baby in time were low but she still saw me and she even did it on her own time. She went way beyond the call of duty to help me out. Unfortunately I went into labor the next day before we could get the baby moved. I had to have a c-section after all but I will never forget what she did for me and how caring she was. She did a great job and now I have a wonderful healthy three year old daughter.

I started seeing Monica after working with two other acupuncturists for infertility over the course of nine months without any success. I went to Monica when we first started trying to conceive. Her treatments were very calming, relaxing, and always made me feel better. Once I became pregnant, I continued to get acupuncture treatments throughout my first trimester to help ease the nausea and promote the positive energy I needed to make it through that fragile time period. I believe my acupuncture treatments helped me both physically and mentally to achieve a happy, healthy pregnancy.

After experiencing post uterine ablation syndrome for several months, I sought out acupuncture treatment in hopes of relieving the painful episodes that were occurring on a monthly basis. I have been receiving regular acupuncture for six months now and I am experiencing significant decreased pain. Given the promising results, I plan to continue acupuncture in hopes of reducing my pain further!.

Acupuncture cured me when traditional medicine was stumped!

I came to be treated by Monica when I had a throat infection that wouldn't go away. My MD had no idea why my throat was coated with a white film, and prescribed a "catch-all" super-antibiotic. This made my symptoms worse, and the infection dragged on for weeks. After my first acupuncture treatment, my throat began improving in two days. My throat was fine within two and a half weeks. I continued getting monthly treatments because I noticed that the PMS symptoms I'd had all my life vastly improved when I was treated before my period. I highly recommend acupuncture for everyone!

I've suffered from migraine headaches for 30 years and have tried all sorts of medications that have been only partially effective. However, with acupuncture I have had very effective (sometimes within minutes) relief from migraine pain. I don't fully understand how it works, but for relief of pain I highly recommend it.

I started working with Monica during the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy after learning my baby was breech. The midwife at my doctor’s office suggested acupuncture to turn her as others have had success. They gave me a two week deadline to get her turned before they would manually try to turn her. Working with Monica was amazing. She answered all of my questions and concerns, adjusted treatments as-needed and provided much needed herbal supplements for my anemia and exhaustion. Within the two weeks the baby turned, my energy levels increased and my anemia was improving. By the time I delivered my anemia was completely under control and I felt great. In my opinion Monica is the absolute best acupuncturist out there. I have seen her for a number of different reasons over the years and she has helped me a great deal.

For example... I had years of infertility, saw other acupuncturists and even had a failed IVF. After seeing Monica for just 3 months, my menstrual cycle completely changed, I felt better, had more energy and GOT PREGNANT after having a frozen embryo transferred!! I have referred many friends to her for fertility issues and they have all had success. She is not only great at what she does, but she is so dedicated to her patients. A few months into my pregnancy, I began to bleed heavily and e-mailed her on Christmas day to let her know what happened. She immediately called me back, left her family dinner (on CHRISTMAS!!!) to meet me at her office for a treatment. And thanks to her, I had a healthy little boy. Seriously I can't recommend her enough. 

I was in a car accident while on vacation which gave me a terrible bone bruise on my knee. It hurt to walk or just bend my knee. It wasn’t getting any better until it was treated with acupuncture by Monica. I’ve been treated by Monica for other things and already was impressed by her thorough approach to treating her patients.

Her evaluation is focused on you and your needs and she does everything to get you back to the place you want to be. After every treatment, my knee felt significantly better and within a few weeks, I was back to normal. She advised me on things to do on my own to speed up recovery, and paired her acupuncture with electrostimulation therapy. She also recommended some amazing Chinese Herbal Medicine pads to help with blood flow and overall recovery.

Her realistic positivity is so helpful in the healing process, and I was so amazed at the recovery my knee has made within a few short weeks of seeing her.
