I went to Monica for gastrointestinal problems which I had experienced for several months. I had relief in the 1st session. I started seeing Monica after working with two other acupuncturists for infertility over the course of nine months without any success. I suffered a rotator cuff impingement, and physical therapy wasn't helping -- in fact, it seemed to make it worse. I decided to try acupuncture, and the results were really surprising. After 3 treatments, I recovered movement in my shoulder, and the pain greatly decreased. Six treatments later, my shoulder feels fantastic, and it functions normally again. I recently had a ganglion cyst near my wrist and went to see Monica for treatment. As a percussionist, I count on the health of my hands, wrists, and arms to be able to play so it was really important to me. On October 18th, 2010, Monica Legatt changed my life forever.

Having had multiple conversations with fertility specialists between April and September of that year who told us that my FSH levels were too high to get pregnant and that the only chance we had at a family was egg donorship or adoption, I had almost given up hope. But after speaking to a friend who had success using acupuncture to address fertility issues, I decided to give it a chance.

I first visited Monica in her office on October 18th and shared my story with her. She asked tons of questions and told me in no uncertain terms that I should not give up. I laid down on the table that day only half believing that anything she would be doing would help my chances of getting pregnant - and I was convinced that even 50% was high odds.

On October 26th, I received a call from my doctor. She told me that me that my husband and I were expecting a "miracle baby." After being given less than a 1% chance of getting pregnant on our own, we had somehow overcome the inconceivable. We had managed - with the help of acupuncture- to create a little life.

Today, we have a 12-week-old little girl who we are absolutely in love with. We tell her every day how lucky we are to have her in our lives...and every day, I think about how lucky I was to meet Monica, who helped us to bring our little miracle into the world.

After experiencing post uterine ablation syndrome for several months, I sought out acupuncture treatment in hopes of relieving the painful episodes that were occurring on a monthly basis. I have been receiving regular acupuncture for six months now and I am experiencing significant decreased pain. Given the promising results, I plan to continue acupuncture in hopes of reducing my pain further!.
