How Does Acupuncture Feel?

I love Monica, she is a super pro and i have seen her work her magic on not only me, but several of my friends as well.

I have migraines all of my life, and over a period of about 2 months, she was able to reduce and keep the frequency from 2x per week, to once every every 2 months or so. She just recently healed a shoulder issue in one session that i have been taking prednisone for.

A friend of mine just recently visited her for spinal issues. she couldn't sleep, was in regular pain, and was considering spinal surgery. Within a few sessions, Monica has her sleeping and eventually was able to fully remove her pain.

My wife had bad tendonitis in her wrist from holding our first child. she couldn't move her hand and Monica restored her to full pain-free hand movement.

I started seeing Monica after a coworker recommended her after success she had seen during her pregnancy. I was experiencing very bad sciatica and lower back pain related to my pregnancy. I could barely walk, so was looking for any relief possible to get me through the final weeks of my pregnancy. Monica was a great listener and answered all of my questions and concerns as I had never received acupuncture before. I started to feel a little relief after my first appointment so decided to continue. After my third treatment I began to feel considerable relief and felt this was the most beneficial of all the specialists I had been seeing. I continued to see Monica through the rest of my pregnancy until the day after my due date. My son was born almost exactly 24 hrs after my last visit to Monica. Even though this was my second child, and it is expected to be a shorter delivery, I really think that all the treatments from Monica leading up to delivery made labor that much quicker and more manageable.

On October 18th, 2010, Monica Legatt changed my life forever.

Having had multiple conversations with fertility specialists between April and September of that year who told us that my FSH levels were too high to get pregnant and that the only chance we had at a family was egg donorship or adoption, I had almost given up hope. But after speaking to a friend who had success using acupuncture to address fertility issues, I decided to give it a chance.

I first visited Monica in her office on October 18th and shared my story with her. She asked tons of questions and told me in no uncertain terms that I should not give up. I laid down on the table that day only half believing that anything she would be doing would help my chances of getting pregnant - and I was convinced that even 50% was high odds.

On October 26th, I received a call from my doctor. She told me that me that my husband and I were expecting a "miracle baby." After being given less than a 1% chance of getting pregnant on our own, we had somehow overcome the inconceivable. We had managed - with the help of acupuncture- to create a little life.

Today, we have a 12-week-old little girl who we are absolutely in love with. We tell her every day how lucky we are to have her in our lives...and every day, I think about how lucky I was to meet Monica, who helped us to bring our little miracle into the world.

I've suffered from migraine headaches for 30 years and have tried all sorts of medications that have been only partially effective. However, with acupuncture I have had very effective (sometimes within minutes) relief from migraine pain. I don't fully understand how it works, but for relief of pain I highly recommend it.

Three years ago my husband and I decided to try and have a baby. I had never been pregnant before and I was very close to turning 30 so I had no idea how long it might take. I was already seeing Monica for other issues so I figured I might as well boost up my fertility while I was at it. Three months later I came home with the news that we were going to have a little baby of our own. Everything went really smoothly throughout my pregnancy until the very end.

Ten days before my due date I found out that my baby was Frank Breech. I was panicked, this was a total shock to us. I called Monica as soon as I left the doctor's office which at the time was very close to closing on a Friday night. Monica explained that because of how far along I was that the chances of turning the baby in time were low but she still saw me and she even did it on her own time. She went way beyond the call of duty to help me out. Unfortunately I went into labor the next day before we could get the baby moved. I had to have a c-section after all but I will never forget what she did for me and how caring she was. She did a great job and now I have a wonderful healthy three year old daughter.
